Lock-Tite does work, but be sure and get the kind that doesn't dry too hard or it'll be hell getting the screws loosened up again.

My Scout Mount allows me to remove the scope and put it back on and still be zeroed in. I can also get additional bases for it and use more than one scope with the same rifle, and they all stay zeroed.

I found a rifle case that's big enough for me to keep the red dot mounted on the rifle, but I do need to remove it for cleaning as it overhangs the gas tube.

I own a nice scope that mounts to the carry handle of my A2M4 rifle. I noticed just the clacking of the bolt causes the lower nut to unset itself from the mounting screw, good thing the mount is well mounted it does not budge, but the scope screws loosen up everytime you fire until the scope itself unsets. Needless to say this kills all accuracy after the first shot.
Does lock-tite work? Are there other methods for getting the screws to stay locked? My carry case prevents me from keeping the rifle with the scope mounted at the same time inside. If I use this material would I still be able to take the scope off and put it back on? Sorry for writing so much, I thought I was the only one.
