Saint Sabina Church puts up 40 billboards to stop gun flow!!!

The Faith Community of Saint Sabina has put up 40 billboards throughout the city of Chicago that read,

“STOP THE GUN FLOW

One gun per month

Reinstate assault weapon ban

Require universal background check

Make crime gun data public

Break the chokehold of the N.R.A.”

Rev. Michael L. Pfleger, pastor of Saint Sabina said, “We will continue this aggressive fight to get guns off our streets. The gun manufacturers and the N.R.A. must be held responsible for their part in the killing of our children. We will fight the N.R.A. and we will continue to demand stronger gun legislation.”

Rev. Pfleger and Rev. Jesse Jackson will lead a march to stop the gun flow on Tuesday, August 28, 2007. This event will be held at D.S. Arms, located at 27 West Industrial Ave, in Barrington, Illinois at Noon.
